Many aspirant who are thinking make career in central government sector then he must know about staff selection commission exams. SSC CGL is one of the most popular exam among all exams conducted by SSC. Now question comes what is SSC CGL is all about?
Well, Full meaning of SSC CGL is staff selection commission combined graduate level. SSC CGL  is the top most recruitment examination conducted by Staff selection Commission of India. As the name suggest the SSC CGL examination is graduate level and only a graduate level candidate can apply for the posts. Combined is due to there are two type of job posts provided by SSC CGL examination namely Gazetted Officer posts and Non gazetted officer posts but since the examination is same thus called combined graduate level examination.

  •  What is the required essential  qualification and allowed degrees for SSC CGL?

For SSC combined graduate level examination any Graduate level candidate may apply for the posts. The allowed graduate degree for ssc cgl are  Art , Science Commerce, or any engineering graduate can apply. There is no bound of Degree course to apply for the examination.

  • What is the required/cut off percentage to apply for SSC CGL Examination?

There is no cut off percentage to apply for cgl examination. Any simply passed graduate can apply and appear for the examination. But to qualify in the examination you have to clear the cut off in both tier 1 and Tier 2 examination.

  • What is the Examination Pattern and Syllabus of SSC CGL Examination?

SSC CGL Examination follows a standard syllabus for both Tier 1 And tier 2 examination. Tier 1 is consist a single paper and tier 2 consist of two papers. Tier 1 paper is 200 mark paper with four sections namely Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, general Awareness and English Comprehension. And in tier 2 there is two separate papers for both Quantitative Aptitude and English language & Comprehension. Both parers are of 200 marks each.
